Erika Alexander is a soon to be mother and the eldest granddaughter of the Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, and represents her grandfather's legacy on behalf of the Alexander family.
With a career that spans over 10 years in public service and community advocacy, Erika has been inspired by her grandfather’s legacy.
As the former Conservative Member of Parliament for Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas and also the first ever Black Canadian Member of Parliament, Cabinet Minister, and Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, Lincoln Alexander was a leading figure in the fight for racial equality in Canada.
However, after 9 years of Justin Trudeau, life has become unaffordable and it is time for her to follow in her grandfather's footsteps to bring Common Sense back to Canada as the next Common Sense Conservative Party of Canada Candidate for Hamilton West Ancaster-Dundas.
